you would have loved it..I was actually on the verge of thinking an XC full Suss is the way to go !! I'm left wondering should i have used my Carbon Hardtail..maybe you should have 2 bikes..a Carbon Hardtail for early on and an XC Fullsusser when you got tireder !!
