allegation of cheating at 2011 bull raid

it has been brought to my attention that an individual who participated in the 2011 bull raid has on facebook accused myself,john martyn and ciaran byrne of cheating by taking a shortcut on the course. i will take this opportunity to go on record to say that this is completely unfounded and untrue,furthermore i would like to say that i have never cheated in any race ever and do not intend ever doing so either. in my opinion this is just a case of someone being a sore loser and i will not name them because that would give their sponsor publicity which i have no intention of doing. i do not wish to discuss the matter any further because it is beneath me and it has tarnished the reputations of all involved and the organisers which is completely unfair and unjustified

it must have been Gerry Mac the little Donkey Cloning flat pedal fiddler !!

Going onto my last lap I felt surprisingly strong, but I suppose it was all the caffeine and the thought of the day nearly being over. I had passed the rider that I had let go in the feeding zone and was glad my timing had worked out with the laps. Crossing the line was quite an anticlimax since they couldn't tell me if i had won or not. The spectators thought I had and I knew no one had passed me. When it came to the prize giving they said I was 4th, which was very disappointing after the whole day's racing and knowing the guys on the podium did not pass me."

he sez he did 15 laps - not according to chipit.ie, he didnt!

Paddy would want to give this fcuker a lesson in maths, apart from him first lap, nearly all the rest of his laps were slower than Gers. Plus as paddy said he only did 14 laps.
