Congrats to Adrian Hennessey of Epic who won the Killarney adventure race last Sat. The last 18k run up and down Mangerton was EPIC to say the least! I was competing as well and i'm only able to walk properly again today.

Sure...some of the munster boys have done Mangerton before - a bit of a hike a bike in places but worth it for the descent if there are no walkers around. There's no shortage of all-mountain stuff down that way if you go out with someone in the know i.e. Knockmealdowns, Nagles, Slieve Mish etc. - much of it rideable all year round on rocky trails/ sheep paths.
