I think you must use a proper Cross bike for the A Race - a mountain bike is ok in the B Race but you can't score points!
nah jump in with an MTB, A or B, rules me arse!

you just won't be competitive on an MTB compared to a cross bike.

Robin [not Alfie]
I see Cullen's entered ...... let the normal hostilities resume!! Don't suppose there's any 20 minute climbs in St Anne's to help me out?
As Alfie said..... it's a cross race...if you want to ride it on an MTB please do...you'll hate it and never ride again...!! A or B doesn't matter.... You may as well put some four inch cavities in your camel back and lead weights in your baggy pockets.... Great to see the cross buzz on the epic forum..... !! St. Annes is very different from last week...super super fast in spots but with a run up which will test you.... short but tough enough still... If anyone wants some bike carrying tips give us a shout before the race on Saturday....
I'm in too! I better take the cross bike out for spin, I have no clue what I'm getting myself into...I like it this way though, more fun! :D
So here's a question, Do you use MTB shoes and pedals? Anyone got a bike I could test?
I have pedals and shoes
Tnx Mickkky, Are you mad im fat enough without having to race my MTB against all the super skinny's on there superer skinny bikes.
This is going to be great! 55 people entered for the B Race - the 1st corner should be great fun! Really looking forward to it!
