this is on tomorrow in Tymon park..watch and laugh as I crawl around in terror of slippy leaves and forget what way the brakes are !! Cheer Justin on as he kicks my arse again and Richard trys to knock me off my bike.
We should be praying for slippy weather! - its slows down the roadies! evens out the odds IMO

Brilliant event - another great job by the Worcies! Nearly caught Graham H at the end but he had enough in reserve to stay ahead. At the end of my 2nd lap I was seriously thinking of inventing a puncture ..... I was that ****ed!

that was a lot better, I think the sheer brutality of it suited me..caned Graham Diamond and it was so sweet..beat Justin but fair play to Ray..great race..i'm delighted with myself..instead of riding like a mainac I ket ot cool and focused the whole race..I was more interested in riding it properly and successfully rather than trying to win !! or take stupid risks I felt deadly..
wow Roger Aiken was like a machine..poor old Bob..mechanicals and crashes..like a mortal !!!
Some craic with Graham and Justin..sorry about the abuse lads but i was feckin delighted I wasnt shi t more than actually beating you !! even the run up was deadly..theres definitely something in the Coaching books and courses I've been doing..Normally I am a big wobbily headed nonsense monster but today I rode like I should !! well done to everybody today and the whole series..
do it next year folks..its not Mountainbiking but its a deadly way to spend an hour on a Saturday..I'm buzzing off my head !!
Can I just mention Sean Downey..
In the olden times he was the prime goober on Mtbireland with some gobsh ite who's name escapes me now but he has developed into a fantastic offroad rider..fair play Sean , you've come a long way !!
Yeah, well done Richie, you rode a much better one today. I could sense that you were happy keeping that same gap the whole race - every time I was slogging up that hill you were on the way down it, same every lap and I just couldn't seem to get any closer!
That was hard work though - turning off the tarmac after the start and straight into that almost unrideable swamp - that was the toughest part of the course!
I'm thinking if I ride the Nationals I should revert to the single speed - I seem to go better on that for some reason!
Thanks to all involved for all the work that I know it takes to stage such an event.
fair play to worc. a nice end to a great series. really enjoyed the new course features. the drop off was a bit of craic, even if redmond tried his best to make it sound frightning on the warm up. ohhh its super sketchy. and the spiral thing added a social element to the race, seemed to be plenty of conversation across the tape going on there. fair play redmond for winning today, thats some improvement. i remember knocking around the tail end of the race with you last year. will try and follow in your footsteps next season!
