New Shoes Needed

Anyone got any good recommendations on mtb shoes...not so crazy on them winter boots...something that will need very little care and will take a good battering???

well..
I go through a pair of the expensive Carbon ones every year..I also wore out a pair of those Shimano Skate style ones as well..
I would be interested in a solid hard wearing pair of shoes too..mind you I should be a tester for all these companies the amount of gear I wear out..
I don't like them winter boots either..The shoes are going cheap on CRC ,Skip..

the diadora have a wierd fitting not everyone gets on with them. We used to do them in the shop

the Diadora (Chili Extreme winter boots I have) have a narrow footbed on them, I've 'normal' feet and they felt a bit tight - even a year later - I thought they'd stretch-out in time

if you did have the desire for winter boots though - these are really comfy and warm, especially up Rostrevor last week

nope..i've had those shimano golf ones and the winter ones..wore the golf shoes out in Morzine and the winterboots just felt like lumps of wood

they are the ones i have..you should see the state of them !! they must have done at least 3 tours in Iraq !!

I have those, on their second winter, going strong..

For normal shoes you can't go far wrong with Specialised, I've had two pairs of these :
