I think it's been in the calander for some time on that date Ger - what does it clash with?
Sorry Jackson, but I think its great to have the Marathon Champs only a month or so after the XC Nationals.
The Lakeland warrior people should be notified though !

I agree Richie - the last couple of Marathon champs were relatively poorly attended by the normal XC racers despite being great races! With the possible exception of the crowd going to the ROC most people were in their "off season"!
The Ballyhoura guys put on a great show last year and the Cork lads the year before!
bringing it forward isnt really the issue, for me the marathon champs and lakeland warrior were two of the best events in 2011 but i cant do both next year.

get the Offroad Commission to sort that out !! I agree they shouldnt clash but I dont care, I'm working on a solution to all these events and different races, and the best bit is, theres even more races to come, so dont be getting your knickers in a twist just yet..theres going to be nobody going to events after June because everybody will be broke !! or every event will only have 20 people at them theres so many !!
i'm fascinated by the freaks on The Apprentice ..we should do a TV show..
I'll be that old bollix Bill Cullen and people can prostrate themselves in front of me trying to sell me a decent MTB idea or event..
