this starts at 2pm at vartry house(across the road from church). 10k cycle with 2k run in the middle.this is a charity fundraiser with proceeds going to cancer and leukemia wards in st james's and st vincents hospitals. soup and sandwiches in vartry house afterwards followed by a charity auction where amongst many other items gee athertons jersey as worn in the blast will be for sale.this is a good pr opportunity for a club that ran the best event in the country in the area before being banned!!

I'm there kiddies ! I always wanted to do this..I say we get a big turnout from EPIC, it would certainly help us with our save The Blast campaign !
you might even get another fine gael photo opportunity
epic have more members in the area than bray wheelers and wicklow tri put together but every year each of them have more members taking part than epic. also both of them are running events in the area in 2012 !!

you could do it as a triathlon max, you would be surprised at some athletes who do very well in the bike and run but drop way down the field in the drinking
don't worry, for the last month I've spent more hours drinking than on the bike!
Have done this loads of times .....its a great event lads...... super casual but always loads of racers too ...they say its 10 km but must be less.........its the hardest most flat out 25 minutes you will ever do.....and great craic in the pub after........recommended!!
will you be on the tandem this year

\Great event by the way, I was flying on the bike but completely died during the run, my lungs didn't appreciate opening them so rapidly after 4 week break!
Good buzz in the pub afterwards but I had to drive home so no pints for me this time..
