How about people posting their weekend biking adventures in this thread..I sometimes feel like i am the only person riding my bike !!
For example, tomorrow I intend to ride my bike at a high speed around Ticknock at 8.00am in the morning then Sunday I am heading to the Wicklow Blitz !
I'll be running in the Irish 50km championships in Donadea tomorrow. 10 x 5km laps. I won't be within an ass's roar of winning this one, as it a short ;D ultra, and the speedy lads will be there en-mass. Everyone in the Irish ultrarunning world will be there though, so should be a good day out!

as darkness descended - lovely to be back out and building up the fitness to get back with the Epic midi savages

I would've done the mtb spin tomorrow but I found today that my lappiere is all seized up as I haven't touched it since November! Anyway, I don't have to explain myself it's my adventure and I'll do it they way I want it, yeah! :]
riding on the road is not an adventure , its delivering the post..thats all you are, Polands finest postman..unlike Eoin keith, you are a cross between Postman Pat and whatever passes for Gay in the Balkans..which is probably everybody except the women ..that new hairstyle of yours makes you look like a pasty Justin Beiber !
did 2(slow) laps of Ballinastoe today to test the forks I serviced, (ok ok so I was sussing out the course for sunday) road spin with a couple of lads who have been off the bike as long as I have tomorrow, then the baggie pant blitz sunday...altogether a 3 day weekend on the bike...perfect end to a hell of a week
What a thoroughly surreal day. The mtb mojo didn't kick in til about noon and then I couldn't get out the door fast enough. Sandwiches, water, and gone...
Nice Sun, mild. Had a quick spin up the road to my local forest/hill/mountain. Looked over my shoulder at one point and saw some horrible, dangerous, and very wet looking clouds rocking in from Lugnaquilla. Made sure my phones were wrapped in plastic and went on...
30 mins later I'm halfway up the mountain and the rain hit, only for a minute..then it turned to hail. But only for a minute. It snowed heavily for the next 30-45 minutes. Pissed about in the snowy forest for a bit, had some great craic, then turned around and headed back towards home.
It was odd. I got home and the ground was dry. The sun was still out.
