Yeah the Club league even though the weather let us down.
The XC NPS and the teamwork that went in to running it.
Als tuesdays, ( in my opinion the most important non competitive Club creation to date) fair play to him. people talk about what they want the club to be and do,and never get off their arses, reading his reports always make me want to do them.
The Blast, all the organisation and even more teamwork that brought it together.
Scotland...that was legendary.

But mainly like yourself, everytime i go out on my bike with people from the Club I have so much craic my stomach hurts. I've been in more MTB Clubs than anybody else and this one is the most fun.
So thanks everybody for all the messing and the spins and the general irreverance, hats off to Oscar, for taking on Cyclocross, exceptional bravery considering the abuse that never materialized, because we all admired him regardless.
Looking forward to 2009 wih a vengeance.

The night spins at the moment - last Thurs was particularly funny. Byrner's feeding-the-ducks hand actions and the discussion that followed - it just doesn't get funnier.
The DH races are always good craic.
A good Sunday spin - hard to beat. Funniest on-the-bike moment of the year was following Roo down Pooka's Back Passage, the sound effects were brilliant and there was the most sideways moment I've ever seen that didn't end in a big crash.
The uplift queues at the dh races are great craic.
Pre race boozing in cork with the ministers stories.
Getting on the podium at two nps races.
Sneaky midweek practise days on the dh bike.
The sunday spins im not suffering on. (very rare)
The fast Tuesday spins when we've a hardcore gang out also every tues we go to kindlestown i just can't get enough of the descent down the glen of the downs
Riding in Alp D'huez it just plain rocks.
Helping newbies out. Its cool to see them improving.
I think the Club league the the best for me both during and after the racing.
My trip to Canada and the Gear Jammer race was just awesome and about the last 10 Sunday spins have been unbeatable.

Come to think of it, I have never had a bad moment since I have joined epic, Such a good crowd with club spin to glendo are the best for me. Running the race last summer in Djouce was very momorable for me, And Club races are the highlight of the week in the summer.
My only issue is my job which take's me away from getting out on spins.
One Sunday a few months back we rode over top of some hill in Glendo above miners trail and had Apache charge...About 15/20 walker were looking up thinking waaa the Foook these guys are crazy....The NPS as it was such a great event also the Blast just deadly...
A tuesday spin with Al and crew over in Djouce we done Alan trail at night..cool...
Dons Sunday spin over Powerscourt was great..nice to see new ground...Ohhh and Karlos had a spin from Ashford over Devils Glen and down through Carrig ages back was a bit of crack...
sheepishly returning after the summer off and finally getting my mo-jo back after much patience and encouragement on tuesday nites; as my lil sister would say you guys are the bomb!
not walking down any of Katy whats-her-face on saturday was big mile-stone for me, thanks richie for your gentle encouragement ;-)
i never fail to have a laugh with epic, bring on 2009!
i forgot about the spin in Glendo when we had to hike the bikes up to the very top and on the descent Richie's bike bounced down the hill! then will climbed up the back of Scarr.
I won't comment on Tonlegee, you should have heard the moaning during the hike-a-bike, but the Lugduff apache was one of the funniest, every time I looked up all I could see was bikes flying through the air, didn't someone ride over Jack? The DH in Cloon was great craic as the Goobers did battle with the hard men. Numerous spins in Djouce spring to mind as does every time we did Alans trail. The Blast of course too, what a day. Any trip up a big nameless mountain as well.
The Lugduff experience was the day of the MegAvalanche last year, July 2007. Seems like it couldn't have been so long ago. Right up there with the best Epic moments of all time.
The last 3 months Saturday and Sunday spins have all been classics..theres been several funny moment involving comments from senior members to each other..including " The Queens W**k" , Alfies Bowel movement sculptures, Tims Furry Boots and Tightpants story..to name a few..
Fixing the bikes in Scotland under the influence..

The Murderhorne !!
All good but these stand out
1.Braveheart raid with epic freeride motley crew .Never to be repeated
2.Sprint finish with wonder girl pocket rocket Sylvia at clue league.wont even try next time
3.Blast so much carnage and goobering
4.Seeing newbys and kids buzz after riding outside their comfort zone
5.Als nite ride down Alans ski slope with everyone around me on the deck or tree hugging
6.First day on DH bike nailing jumps in cloon
7.Christmas drinks (more info later)
Skippy wel do that spin again over christmas i will arrange everyone will be able for it ,Devils glen ,Carrick mt. and lunch in Ashford after.
