Shame on you people who didn't make it down, we all had a great day, loads of podiums, loads of excellent racing and an absolutley brilliant course and event by Racing 795..everybody had a great race from EPIC !! so many battles it was incredible to watch today, very impressive 123 from teamworc in senior 2 and a photo finish in the Senior 1 with Martin Allen pipping Peter Buggle by 700th of a second.
Well done Orla, Caroline and Aine, all winners in the ladies races, with young Ross winning under 12's and Ross Pearson got 2nd in S4 for his first race and Marlena got 3rd in Under16s..Jack once again dominated senior3 , Doris was our top Senior 1 rider with Max miles upon miles upon miles behind him and Alfie just behind him by a few feet ..
AN absolutely top notch event from Racing 795..best racing I've seen in years ..and folks, the 29'er is the Machine for these races..oh yeah, what a beast ! well done to all our racers and Queen Shona for her Bottle minding. Well done to all the racers that made the effort to support these events..
That was superdooperdeadlysavagehiperexcellent! Great close racing, superb track, fantastic people and incredible weather. What else could you want? Ice cream maybe? :D
I even got sun burned, and Strava says I'm a superman, I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.... !

Yup great day to be out with your mates racing your bike, blew my lights on the 1st lap but stupor stuck in and finished the 4 laps. Actually enjoyed it for once. Great race. I'd hate to see in in the wet as it was very greasy in places. My first ever S2 and felt grand but it's a big leap having one extra lap, Doris forgot his saddle and colms back wheel fell off!!i pushed hard enough but wasn't into slaughtering it in case I blew up. Looking forward to seeing my times. Great support from all the epic crew cheers and well done to everyone who podiumed.

Really sorry I missed this guys! Packed everything last night, no beer at all (1st Saturday for a long time!), went to bed early and then woke up at 3am feeling really rotton! Didn't sleep again! I'll spare you the details but must have caught the bug Sam had last week! Sounds like a great day out - well done everybody!

A huge well done to all the epic riders and to those who were in the medals, an extra big up to Aine taking her first win today.
Also a big shout out to Jack for making it two in a row and not to forget Smithers for getting around without walking this week.
And least not to the lady i the service station who served the ice cream as we drove home.
Another thing I noticed Epic was the only club I notice hanging around and cheering each other along from the racing to the very end.
Jayus Richie no need to thank me, we had a picnic, took some photos talked to loads of people seen one of my mates win her first race and of course the club doing brilliant.... Today could only have been better if I wasn't late on the bike myself.
Thanks for all the support there was so many Epic there it saw nearly like a spin .. I had a great race started all wrong could not find my legs on the first lap Richie shouted 26th to me at the top so I pushed on and finished in 13th I am very happy whit that thanks
sorry to hear about you being sick Richard ,I knew something was wrong when there was no sign of you..I had a cracking time..I did the two laps of the S4 race for the craic and then walked and supported the Main Race..so many great performances. I have taken a heap of deadly photos ! just loading them up now ! That was the most craic I had in ages !!! I even bailed Ian Heald out by loaning him a pump, I had my pump , a pocket full of Gels and a spare bottle with me ! Great show allround !
Where are all the bleedin Nothies, Southies and Westies, if you are going to run NPS, this race is the standard for the year !!
