Enduro

Hello,

Are there any Enduro races run in Ireland?

I've read, seen and heard a little about it recently. It sounds like something I'd enjoy, bouts of fast furious action with some steady pedalling in between.

This seems to describes it well.

myself Sean and Fergal have talked about this more than once. I even have a plan for one written down but the amount of work involved would be huge.and the logistics are savage,
I might run a club one as an experiment but don't hold your breath.

it would be savage. The logistics involved would be mental. The avalanche racing boys have it dialed but they are a full time outfit who do it for a living.

I could do it, if i had another 10 of me..but if we did, nobody in the club could race it, everybody would have to work their bollix off..

true and several Alan Aylings, not to mention a bag of stopwatches..
still..the thought has not gone away..
i think I will run a mini Club one..just to see..
but not till Spring, when theres a remote chance of good weather..
