a time when I worked in The Bike Rack this eejit used to come in selling kids Helmets. And Golf Shoes..he was Danish,

So it began, he was sh1t of course but over the decades he grew in to a force to be reckoned with, we traded victories for a few years , he broke his hip in a CX race, Chris Jensen was the nearest rival to Robin for a while, there was politics, there was tears, then Knud decided that it was time to move back to Denmark to give his family a crack at the big time, he turned in to quite an accomplished rider, a great rider in fact.
He helped build the Kindlestown trail..in fact I think it was mostly his baby.
So thats who Knud is, Mountainbiking did not begin with the current crop of superheroes and there are more arseholes now than ever before but I guess that can't be helped but people like Knud helped shape what you enjoy these days. He contributed a hell of a lot morne than some people reading this will ever achieve. He was the only parent of a Superstar rider who refused to go on the Offroad Commission because he publicly stated that by doing that he would not remain neutral or fair.
