with all the talk of Armstrong , it got me thinking about the total pile of ****e that Cycling Ireland is..to me as a Mountainbiker and not just any old mountainbiker but as the Typhoid frickin Mary of Irish MTB..me and peter purfield may have been the originators but I'm still here so that makes me ground zero for the sport..all of you whether you like it or not are a result of a handful of peoples efforts..me, Peter, Eddie Beechnor and Michael Cowan from up above..we were the first to bring people together in CLubs...
But over the years our Governing body and the sport that I love has just twisted itself into one turgid miserable carry on that nobody really wants..
Too many rules, too many frickin access issues and way too much taking it firmly and without a doubt up the arse from the likes of Coillte..deciding where and when we can ride our bikes and nobody in CI man enough to tell them to go **** themsleves.
So before I bow out, I plan to abandon Club and Politics for a year to see if its better without me, this is my final rant..
Cycling Ireland ..you have taken a sport that produced Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche, Robin Seymour and Glyn O Brien..4 superlative irish Riders and you have turned it in to a farce of serial commuters and leisure cyclists.

Treasurer - Brian O Neill - the Greatest
Road Rep - Richie Keddy - big ****in balls
XC rep - Robin Tiberius Seymour - do I need a reason
Dh Rep - Adam Tynan - do I really need a reason, adept, respected , not a gobshiote
Track - Liam Walker - no point in fixing something not broken
Ladies Rep - Jenny McCauley - if you knew her you would understand
Youth Development - Jon Hynes
Access officer - Adolf Hitler - grind them *******s in to the dirt in his absence Mannix Flynn
