re first aid

i know there's a cavalier attitude to it, tho-especially regarding kids' spins- i think i could do w doing a relevant first aid course -just in case something mad or bad happens> people suggest a rec3 version. it's verry pricey at 250euro tho!!
has anyone done that course? does it cover much that's relevant to middle of nowhere situations? ...i wonder if it's possible to get someone to teach it at a cheaper price IF there's enough interest ...

i was on a spin once when someone broke their leg , luckily enough someone with REC3 was on the spin and he came and looked at the casualty and said "is there a bone sticking out ? is there blood coming out? no, alright good luck" and fecked off !!
