one day licence

why does a one day licence for an xc nps cost ten times as much as a one day licence for a sportive ??

because it does ..great question though, I asked it myself but i forget if I got an answer ! I would send a completely irate letter to the offroad commission if I were you !

The Day License costs are the same across the CI board (road, off-road etc.) and are not set by Offroad Commission. I suppose the insurance costs etc. are higher for competitive events, hence the more expensive day license. Sportives are categorized leisure/charity so they are under a different umbrella than XC racing.

Just buy a frickin full year license Ger, problem solved!

if you abused the power that comes with your position you would know that i did buy a licence .

Because the cost of one day licences for sportives are set as per the guidelines for leisure/charity events i.e. non-competitive events

An xc nps is a competitive event so that cost structure is different
