Rostevor XC race this Sunday sign on details

Wow what a great course that was and the CLIMBS! I forgot how tough XC could be, great racing in all cats but were was EPIC??
I met Graham, Scarface Mick, Ross (great result, I think he got 2nd?), Doris (animal, top 5 or close in S1), Ronan O, and young Oisin doing the kids races.
Come on, it's 1h drive from Dublin and one of the biggest events of the year. I know it's a bank holiday but I thought more ppl would make an effort.
Anyway, you missed a savage race!

I was all set to head down with the family, but Karl got sick so I have bean nursing him all day! Fair play lads savage results! I'm raging I could not be there, how much is entry for the enduro??

You have to be fair there Max, a lot of us have families, a lot of us work Saturdays, a lot of us go to feckin everything. Theres a lot going on..are you going to the Enduro tomorrow ? No but I am and so is Smithers..and Shona and Jack..there were more EPIC today than there will be tomorrow. Wait till you are at this 25 years, we will see how contrary you are then. Theres an NPS every two weeks, next weekend we have MADs NPS, the following weekend we have the 'Houra Enduro..the week after that Lady Dixon..so to put it plainly you can s*ck my C*ck..sometimes its more important just to ride your bike with your mates.

? Didn't even think of you and your mates when I said that. I know some ppl are going tomorrow which is great. Just surprised there was not many of the usual xc heads at the event, considering how close it was to Dublin.

Bank Holidays are always a disaster, like todays SMithers Social Spin..loas of people who would have benefitted from going on it didn't ...makes me wonder..there was a time when we all did the one thing..now its every man or woman for himself. I apologise if I appear pedantic but the way I see it lately is everybody is suiting themselves, if me and the other pioneers of the sport had that attitude we would be in an even more dismal state than we are now. Maybe its time for me to abandon MTB because I feel like a frickin Dinosaur.
