You'd never know there was an XC NPS going on this Sunday the complete lack of hype about it..I'm looking forward to it ..my Team mates are looking forward to it..My EPICmtb ninjas are looking forward to it..RObin is on a 29'er , the course has been licked in to a shape any old eejit can ride it..the climbs are handy , the descents fierce, the weathers to be great , unless you are coming back from an injury or near 50 years of age EPIC members are required by law to race S3 at least..if you are not racing you are cheering on..I think Gar McKee will win with Monty not far behind him as Robin is bound to get lost up there
4 times up Toms for the S2 , I predict Damo will win S2 , with Terry finishing behind Niall Quinlan and Steve Pollock coming 2nd..or 5th, Colm McGarvey might take it from Damo and I think Ray will beat me as I am so bored with 3 rock and wish I was in Glendalough every Sunday..then Jack might win S3 but hes in S2 now but hes on a Crappandale so that will fall apart..MVDL will win Juniors with Anto in 2nd hopefully and who knows maybe some women will turn up..Hoppo will win S3 and MickOnose might get second with Ross Perversion I mean Pearson coming 3rd..
Oisin May will hammer the other under 8s into the ground and who knows what might happen in the S4s, some lad with a heart rate monitor on and shaved legs no doubt..although I have contacted Max and he promises me that anybody who races S4 on Sunday has to be willing to sell their bike for €150 after the race because after all its for beginners !
and if you think I just spouted a complete load of bollocks, fair play at least i'm trying to promote the event !
