Villamoura Portugal MTB Hire

Im heading to Villamoura in Portugal for a week in July and want to hire a decent full suss, can only find crap on the net, has anyone rented a mtb there??

I went for a spin with the http://www.themountainbikeadventure.com/.

He's based in Lagos. He doesn't hire the bikes on their own but does an uplift day around Monichque. Bike hire, guide to the trails and lunch.
They've build some great trails with about 10k going down. Downhill and cross country. There's also a jump track and he's got a suss on the local club trails too.

The bikes are Saracen Ariel. Think he just got new ones in.

You could easily get a train down to him or arrange to meet him in Portimao.

Hi Johnny, I've booked that guy in Lagos in two weeks, was it any good or was it really for the tourists?

I was out with these guys last year, they have some great trails. Jim is the man to talk too...top quality rider. We done some coastal XC routes with them between Luz and Lagos - savage trails. I've booked a few days at Monchique off the back of it, brilliant AM stuff & a beautiful region.
