Trail now cleared (almost) as of yesterday ... 2 friendly official guys with chainsaws removed all the fallen trees (at least 5) yesterday.
But there is a dirty big tree stump in the middle of the trail - about half way down. It is possible to go around it - but not at speed.
Given the number of trees that have come down so far there is likely to be more...
