Underage DH day in Cloon 31st january

That was brilliant, so much talent and some deadly riding. Every kids was great,but the man to watch is Sean Green...my jaysus hes a little rocket !!
I took the kids with the least confidence and they went from being very nervous to astounding rippers.
A bit of confidence building on the fireroad corners and then we did some gnarly stuff on Colins track and the Main track.
Conditions were slippery multiplied by slimy but I think everybody had a great day.
Huge turnout considering the weather.
A big thanks To Sean for looking after the superstars of the future, Adam,markT,Karl,Alan ,Greg and Dan Sheridan from FLOW racing.
And a special mention to the mums and dads that came along with their kids and hung around in the rain and drizzle.
And thanks too, to the other guys up there today that gave encouragement,

Kids DH day

Great stuff, a miserable day but a deadly turn out, even a couple of the quick guys from the north were down checking out the sneaky lines.

Great stuff roll on the next Kiddies day.

My day came to an end when i blew the front tire off the rim on one of the last right hand corners in the middle section, but the tube was still inflated..

Obviously the terminal speed for that corner!!

Well done for everyone braving the crappy weather.

Sorry we missed today, sounds like deadly craic. Big thanks for last weekend to Karl, Alan and Stuart- Leadmines was deadly too.

Some excellent riding all round, remember those tracks were built with experienced riders and big forgiving bikes in mind. Not to mention the conditions, which were as tricky and slippy as I've seen in Cloon, ever.

Mark, that sort of thing will happen when you use 2 psi in your tyres. Have a word with Don about optimal PSI - if you ask nicely he might even do you up a colourful tyre pressure/knobble pattern versus conditions wall chart to put up in your room.

To all the young people who were out today - come along to the race next weekend, even if you don't race come and spectate. The support will be welcome and you will be astonished by what the fast lads can do. And as Richie says, watch young Mr Green and see what little people on bikes are capable of.

Yeah fair play to the kids for coming out and giving it a bash, hardy souls to be tackling those conditions. Great to see all the youngen's ripping it up, who knows if they keep at it like that they could be showing us how to ride soon. Good work.
