Bumped into Mark Kidd today actually. He had a good first day - wasn't quite prepared for the cold/wet/muddy conditions today, would still expect them to have been done before us though. It was a good day to be an Irish mountain biker, such were the conditions!

Bumped into Victor Lucas yesterday and today. Mark and Paul are in the same hotel as us now, so had breakfast with them the last few days. They've been getting on great, bar 3 punctures yesterday. Haven't heard how they got on today.
