Well, great course, really top notch... And the weather behaved for us with only the odd shower... Forgot how bloody tough XC racing is!
Chris Cambell rounded off a fantastic year for him in XC racing with a win in S3, with Ronan O in 2nd place...Will be some battle between ye two boys in S2 next year!
Dan Brickbender in 3rd Juniors
Seymour 1st in S1's, Rodger Aiken 2nd
Davey Conroy 1st U16 and young Brendan Conroy narrowly missed out on the win in U8..

Me and Terry, "Team Saturday Crew" started off at the back and picked off people along the course until I decided to try pull an undertaking manoeuvre down the rocky/rooty line and lost the front
wheel, hit the deck, and used my face as a brake to slow me down! Front tyre flatted and gas'd it up, off I went.... Thanks to one of the guys from McConvey cycles who helped me straighten the handlebars,
was gonna Dnf at that stage, but sure feck it, did the 3 laps and got my 20 quid's worth!

I actually enjoyed my race,it was hard as hell,I was no where near the front,but I had little battle's throughout the 4 laps.Great course,sign on etc was easy,and the marshals out on the course were brilliant,plenty of encouragement from them.
Chris C was motoring,he was the only S3 rider who passed me,I think!!!
Well done to all in Epic who got results.
ps,when the results are put up on facefook or titter or whatever random stupid social stalking site they are using now,could some one put them up on here,pretty please??
