Club League: Round 4 Results

A great night's racing (for those who remembered their shoes!).

42 racers on the course and plenty of close battles.

Richard B won tonight having struggled to find his way around last week. Erica took full advantage of her handicap to take the honours amongst the women (Great to see more women getting out racing).

Fastest lap recorded goes to Max and McGarvey - both clocked in at 10:58 this week.

Huge thanks to Mick, Rob and Jon for the starting and timing.

Great night to be on the bike - many thanks to Ray, Mick and Dave! Great turnout and a big crew in the pub after too!
I found the conditions really difficult and did each lap exactly a minute slower than the previous one .... 14,15,16 ... just as well it's not a 10 lap race!! Fell off twice too .... not a happy bunny!!

Really enjoy that last night the leg felt good and was happy with my times. Hard work keeping Alfie off the back wheel on lap two had to use the traffic to my advantage. Terry Mc Nipples dropped a few sand bags and put the boot down on the final climb into section 2 you would want to see him go there is a bit of fight left in the auld steamer still yet! Thanks to the timers and starters . Great night to be racing.
