Rio XCO Predictions

As you may or may not be a wear the Olympic xc races takes place this weekend and should produce some good racing.

So purely for the Craic let's throw out our predictions: ( and sure if you don't have a clue pick a few names off the list and you never know.)

Here is mine:

Saturday 4:30 women's
1. Langvad
2. Neff
3. Batty

Sunday 4:30 men's
1. Nino
2. Absalon
3. Kulhavy
4. Sagan
5. Andreassen

Let's see who gets the closest!

Controversially I'll switch Kulhavy and Absalon on gut feel alone. And punt for Neff in the women's race

Sagan will crash out and take Kulahavy with him

How is it gridded? Take it Sagan will be at the back.

Tough call between Langvad and Neff for the win. The Danes have had great support from Sauser (he's almost local at this stage).

Looks good quite open which will suit sagan. Shape loose corner which could cause a crash or two especially early on. Serious rock gardens too should be good.
