Can't make it this week either ! And have never been to Slade - but hopefully next time!

What rain? Sure it was only a drizzle. We were well protected from the wind among the trees.
Was tough climbing at times in the mud. Enjoyed exploring new parts of the forest we have never been to before. Was disappointed not to spot any elves though. They must only come out at night or else we were too scary looking as they are used to only children visiting. Thought I saw one of the little skitters letting air out of Terry's tyres when he went for a slash.

Thanks Terry for leading us around and to the lads for showing up despite the rain.
