Biddyz Wicklow 200

Yeup it that time of year again..Im booked in...The Route has a nice twist this year...Slieve Na Maun then straight into the Shay Elliott so so good climbing to be had.

Well done Skippy nothing like been orgainised !! Couln't be any worse than the RED ZONE spins we've been at lately.

Slieve Mann and Shay Elliot is a great combo... all that climbing, then 3-4 minutes descending and you get to do the same again (except steeper at the start).

I'm always inspired with the variety of riders I see out for it.

Well now El Bender Magnifico, before you get too lost in the outer rings of ur****, I'll have you know that I'm planning on doing the W200 again this year and following on from riding it on a single speed last year, in the fine tradition of Epic Pursuits In Cycling, I'm planning on trying it on a fixed wheel this year. How's that for ya!....??

Myself and Aimi are doing the 200 this year.

On a fixie though... holy sh*t, fair play to you, I've never even tried to ride one.

The only thing I don't like about the Wicklow these days is that it seems to have become the holy grail for the yellow jacket uber goober brigade.

how do u start a thread...im new to mtb and would like to ask about routes,equipment and other basic stuff and generally drive u all mad with questinons!!
like ...full sus or hardtail?

I'll be there too..whammying the goobers..theres loads of info mr Scythe around the forum bout getting into mtb..
I'll be doing it on a CX bike..
we also have a team in the Gorey 3 day this year
