How to keep my balls safe!!!?

Howya, am just about to get into the biking lark, and need a little bit of advice re: what bike to buy. Am looking at a Giant XTC4 size large which I think is about 20". A mate of mine recommended as small a bike as possible for my size, which is 6'2" and 34" inside leg, will a 20" frame be small enough to protect me jewels or should I go for the next size down?:o
its funny, you can hear the Mayo accent !! Mr Culchie, make sure you listen to Al !!
Rhinestone, If you have the right colour/size over shoes the bike size wont make any difference, provided it blue..Unless you rip a zipper.. Go for black and you will never go back.
Cheers Al, I think i'll go for the large, what do you make of the giant, would it be ok as a starter, I think i'm getting good value on it!
There not bad value for money. Only downside is there a very xc race geometry bike which is fine if your an xc racer. Me being a dh rider don't like that as it doesn't inspire confidence when pointing downwards due to the low front end.
Well I hope that won't be a big issue for meself, I'm not intending to go the kamikazi on it, I'll get murdered by the missus if I kill myself on a mountain in wicklow!
definitely a good plan going for the large, I used the same logic and bought a medium but kept getting launched over the handlebars because the top tube was too short. Changing to a large fixed that instantly!

You could also save yourself a lot of hassle and pick up a full sus bike second hand for similar money now rather than having to justify it to herself in a few months (AKA the week before the Blast)
I bought an XTC4 IN January, had the same worries about low front end giving me a sore neck so went for the large. when I got it I thought I should'v gotten a size smaller as there is so much adjustment in the bar stem anyway.
The bike feels very roomy but still havn't managed to snag anything on the top tube ! By the way I'm only a shortie at 5'10ish. Happy with the bike, everything works well enough. very stiff frame, dosn't like too much tyre pressure. Lockout on the fork seems spurious, even on road. Bars look like there's enough shape in them to tune for comfort but my over 40 wrists get achy. Easier to climb than my old giant, box 2 !!
