I must have contracted quarry-lung or something on Sunday so I've only enough energy to film ye all bating around the Leadmines this eve so get your cleanest gear and most aggressive race faces on and I will make ye famous.
If you cannot go fast then a crash or two will get your name up in lights.
The best actor/actress gets a big cheer and a bite of a Palmers burger in the pub afterwards (small bite now, as they are expensive)
anybody got any idea what this is like..is it good park racing like the old Phoenix park racing or is it like somebody elses park race thats all about the Ducks and the fast tight loose racing or what ?
Deadly event XMTB..Park racing is not my cup of tea, but if you are a true XC racer then you have to give the brave savages who ventured out today in lady Dixons Park a big hand !!..
savage fast tight singletrack..brilliantly marked out . the venue is deadly and XMTB and McConveys pulled out all the stops to give us a great race..
Alfie got another 4th I think..behind Rob Tobin IMBRC, some lad from Banbridge(apologies) and Oisin from MAD..
Sylvia raced Elite ladies and while the distance and pace was probably a bit of a shock, its savage training for our super trooper..well done Sylvia..
I think Rossco got 3rd as well but everybody seemed to be racing their socks off..
loads of food afterwards and the Atmosphere was great..
I didn't get to run through the Rose Bushes in the Nip a I'm still way too hungover from Friday !! but theres always next year..
Well done and thanks to Robert lamont , Eamon McConvey and the other XMTBers for a savage days racing and craic,

oh yeah..the online sign on was a great idea and the timing chips brilliant..whoever came up with those ideas ..nice one..the different coloured numbers were also great..
Huge effort went in to organising this event..its a pity so many fat slackers didn't get off their arses to venture North either !!
Great to see a big revival from the IMBRCers too..Rob Tobin was motoring !
