After the evening of poxed bike repairs I've had, someone please convince me why I bother with this sport. Fcuk me, even golf wasn't this much bloody trouble.

golf, my friend .is as Mark Twain once said, a good walk ruined..mountainbiking on the other hand is like being in the middle of a War between good and evil..the Good is the on form days with the perfectly tuned body and machine with the perfect conditions..

I hated golf, nothing like mountain biking at all, all that obsessing about which club to use, kevlar or steel shafts, wearing ludicrous clothing, getting soaked all the time............waaaait a minute.....

Bike maintenance 101 went a bit better tonight. Sorry I had to miss the club race but it has taken until now to get a tyre onto that bike. And racing the heavier yoke is a nonsense altogether. So might even be back out next week.

Bloody Camaderry, it's rattling my bike to bits, I'm going to dip the whole yoke in threadlock.
I think it was Moses who said " i'd rather have a bad day on me bike, than a good day at the office " but he had some good days..parting seas and chatting to burning bushes and stuff..you have to remember and it something that a lot of people forget..in EPIC, you are either getting the piss ripped out of you or pushed to the edge of madness by bith the DH spins, the Sports Spins or the XC madness spins..a bad day for us is way beyond the comphrehension of Mortal Clubs..
