KIllarney DH NPS results
Yeah, cheers to all at Killarney CC, ye lads did a poxy job with the weather but a great job with the track and overall another great race.
Numbers way down for a few reasons: MegaAvalanche, people away in Les Gets, long journey from NI to Killarney etc, but still some tight racing.
As usual, Masters was the place to be (well I would say that). I found myself at the lofty heights of 5th place after a pretty tidy first run, aided in no small measure by Sean, Bruce and Ian Mac all crashing. Sean's crash was quite bad, landed on his hip, walking looked difficult but he still managed a second run good enough for 4th place. Damo Duggan got a very respectable 2nd behind Dale, Bruce got in ahead of me as on the second run as I slipped to eighth... still lots of good clean fun, or to put that another way, filthy mucky fun, but fun nonetheless. A strangely enjoyable track I thought, amazing how the grip remained despite the rain.
I suppose I ought to mention Greg at this stage, who not only won Juniors but also scooped the quickest time of the day and a few quid to boot, not to mention a fine looking trophy and a lovely smile from the nice lady presenting it.
Gavogavin narrowly (sort of) missed out on 3rd junior, next time perhaps. Ed Smith got a respectable 2nd in Seniors, despite a crisis of allegiance. Definitely still Epic, despite what some of them 021 lads might say.
No Epic vets or ladies today. Rob D and young Sean flying the flag in U-14s, not quite at podium level yet but improving all the time and looking much more at home on their bikes bating down a rough track at scary speeds.
Bring on the Nationals, I trust the Flow boys have been making better sacrifices to the weather gods. I'd hate to have to go to the trouble of putting spikes on...

Well I'm back from the holidays and it looks like I missed a good race at the weekend the number were way down for this NPS which is a shame cause I know the lads put in a big effort for it so well done to all that did make the effort to go down and support them. Greg that's some achievement well done you're on a absolute flyer at the moment.
Yep, it was a deadly race, one of the best tracks about in my opinion, fun and gnarly, with some really cool bits.
I wonât go back over what Mr Faulty said other than to mention young Mr OâCallaghan again. The Elite field might look light, but do you see the lad on top of it, Colin Ross, he is currently the man to beat in Irish DH, no matter who turns up and he wanted to win that prize and Greg took it off him. Deadly.

Fair play to the DH'rs for makin the trip. Excellent results too, greg obviously has talent.

Good race pity bout the weather but they cant be all dry, quite a frustrating weekend falling in both runs when there was a top three for the taking but sure thats the way it goes, roll on the champs.
don't be so hard on your self !! you are getting great results..unlike the fat slackards who stayed up here hiding behind the curtains and wishing they were cool..

Start shouting at the TV when United are on..don't bother shouting at other teams, they are ****e anyway.
dredge up your friends you used to hang around with and display their fat and soft bodies to the wife, in comparison to your hard , sculpted physique.
relentlesly pursue them for sex..i mean relentllessly at every opportunity, particularly if the in laws appear.
