Championship Classes
There is a national Championship for the following categories only:
Under 12
Under 14
Under 16
Junior
Under 23
Elite
Master
Vet
Ladies ( which will be combined to avoid uci issues pertaining to the World Masters Champs)
Theres no Sports national medal
No Experts National Medal
No under 10
No Number 8
this is a UCI rule, nothing to do with the Club or the Commissar. And there is no room for debate here or on the start line or anywhere other than the Cycling Ireland AGM.
Furthermore you have to have a minimum of five eligible riders in any category for a full set of medals to be awarded. If there are four, there is just Gold and Silver and if there are only three then just gold. Less than three and its not an official champs.
Be wary of this folks , these have always been the rules.
