well done to everybody who raced..the course was very tough..we were lucky with the weather..
Well done to Conor McConvey on being national champ for the very first time, a very well deserved win , a gentleman and in a league of his own today. Ryan had a great race in 2nd , his second race after his collarbone.
Luke had the race of the day.
but the racing was very close through all the categories, which is a great testament to the high standard of riders racing. Combined with the NPS,Probably the best group of riders ever.

if somebody had told me I'd be Commissaring a national Champs with Jack watson looking over my shoulder years ago , i'd have laughed at them..
that was harder than racing !!!

Not quite 4th for me, ended up fifth but was still very happy with that. My aim was to try and finish in the top five. It was a very tough course, a lot of big climbs and nowhere on the course to have a rest, enjoyed it a lot though. Thankfully it was dry, would have been very different in the wet. Well done Ger and Daragh and all the other Epic racers.
No probs and I'd say your memory is very good seeing as you knew the name of nearly every rider going past without looking at start lists!! Don't know how you do that.
That was with out doubt the hardest race of the season. Unfortunately it was mainly hard for the wrong reasons. But, as the fast lads know, if you're going well a race is still a race regardless of the course. Atmosphere was a bit damp which didn't help.Also, 5 laps was too many, 4 would have seen it decided
Fair play to all that took part, the course was relentless; think my bottle was still full when I finished!
A big thanks and well done to all of EPIC today. After 5 frames and some pretty cr*p results early season I would have given up if not for the craic and support that comes with being an EPIC memeber.
You better get training or better still let me know when and where and I will bring my young savage eaters down to train with you so you can get first hand experience of the opposition.
hard racing today - was surprised to see Epic sabages Oscar and Alfie fade , that grass was tough work but thank god it didnt rain in it , good racing by all apart from the odd cheater.............fooling themselves - sad stuff
Yep, Very hard racing indeed, Horrible coarse which I could not wait to be over with. Finding the venue was a challenge enough. Well done all that raced, Was very impressed with Kelvin (epic)who got lapped and after everyone was finishing and the rain started bucketing down, He continued on his last lap in the monsoon and finished the distance, Legend !.
PS, Paddy you had a good race, But im getting closer !.
