i took some video yesterday before the battery ran out. it would have been clearer if I'd checked the lens early on..but I was tryin to slag the riders mock everybody around me and video at the same time..the head on Dave carroll..he hasn't changed a bit since our early adventures in the 90's..travers ( firstblood) has a video of him and john Pennefeather crashing into ditch up in Ballinascorney in his Peugeot van..and doing doughnuts in the car park with Niall Quinlan on the roof..

cool vid. You're man Dave is a sound bloke. I remember riding down Carrick with him last year. He was on a hardtail and the rest of us on dh bikes..fupping hell he was a quick bugger and one of the nicest guys. Spent the day just showing us trails that we could turn into dh tracks.
did you see Steptoe Sheridan hitting the road gap...thats feckin impressive..more impressive than even Greg actually..then I made Pornstar Snr do the jump on to the finish using my devil shouting..that was very brave for lads with one foot in the rest home !!
Yeah Dave amused a van load on an uplift with more light bulb jokes than any normal mortal could hope to remember and was the instigator of the crowd surfing from the podium. Hope he sticks around on the bike funny guy.
Our karl was hitting that rock drop up top all weekend. Very impressive feat.
