Mesh Grill For Car Boot For Dog

Hi all,

I am heading to Wales at weekend biking, and I have to bring a puppy with me on the ferry. Would anyone have a lend of an adjustable mesh grill (or anything similar) that I can put on boot (Opel Astra hatchback 2002), so dog can stay in there for the journey. Or if anyone has any other suggestions, would be much appreciated. I have a BIG metal cage, but its huge, and not sure where bikes would go??

Do you just want to keep the dog in the back for the ferry journey? On the Irish Ferries sailing to Holyhead I noticed they have kennels on the car deck where you can leave your dog during the crossing.

I have a dog bar from a landrover. you might be able to zip tie it into place. It's yours if you want it.....

I want to know how the Puppy is going to get along Biking..will she be using flats or SPDs and whats her attitude to tubeless tyres..i bet she hates Cyclocross as well!!

I have a transport box you can borrow if you like Aimi...It fits my two in comfort no problem.

thanks guys. I ended up just putting the pup in the boot. She only figured out how to climb out when we got back to dun laoghaire!! I think it might take a while before she can actually come biking. I have her running down the trails though!
