Cuchulainn cc will be running this event in the coming weeks, thought it may be of interest as its an easy drive from Dublin and maybe the last event of the year, The event will likely use a mix of trails, fire road and public road. I cycle this area regularly and the trails are really good, fast, open mountain grass trails so not much mud. 20K option but the 45k probably wont be as bad as it sounds as there is a good mix of gradual climb and long decent. ' Da Cooley Thriller' 2009

SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2009

Sign on at Carlingford Sailing Club in Carlingford , starting in the village centre and finishing at King Johns Castle, to be crowned the Cooley King !!!

The Categories with a mass start as usual. One big loop approx. 45k Laps and a shorter sport/fun !! 20k course.

Sign will open on Friday 18th at the sailing club, 7pm until 8pm. Saturday 19th 8am until 9.30am SHARP.

Start 10am (VERY SHARP) vilage centre.

Keep an eye on those empty gel packets and empty drinks bottles, please.
Leave only satisfied and tyre marks !!!
