The new season starts today in what is to be another great year of rugby, realy looking forward to it, good luck to anybody who follows this with there teams, should be a cracker.
I'm off to Galway now to watch the Ospreys play Connacht in the opening match, can't wait, the result should be no suprise but you just never know.
Sorry Don but i'm Welsh, rugby's in my blood, two best sports in the world are Mountain Biking and Rugby, you should try playing both at the same time, not feckin easy i can tell ya..

I remember Giant Haystacks always used to get public warnings, for sitting and farting on Big Daddy's face & the like, he was a bad ass pikey that Haystacks lad...

I donât know who the Ospreys think they are going to be playing down there, Connaught donât have a rugerboy team, I reckon is the Galway hurlers having a laugh, I am not sure, but its definitely some form of trap.
The League is kinda second rate though, isn't it? The Hoineken Cup is where it's at. Wretched beer, great tournament.

I never forgave Welsh rugby after the hangover I got from playing drinking games with a bunch of Pontyprydd fans in Monkstown one night after Ireland v Wales at Lansdowne Rd....
The club did sit down to watch a ruggerball match one night. The scene was Courtney's in Killarney, the match was the one that saw Ireland win the grand slam.
About 25 minutes in (just after John O'Reilly got back from the art gallery) it's scoreless and the bowld Mr Byrne is heard to remark,
"You'd think they'd have scored by now - the posts are wide enough and there's no keeper!". Priceless.
I'm a diehard rugby fan, but wouldn't dare shout about it here...
besides, I now have to stand pitchside every sat morning, watching U8 & U10's.

Without the magners league none of the celtic nations teams would be anywhere near good enough for the Heineken cup, plus how do you think they qualifiy for the Heineken cup in the first place.
I wasn't realy shouting about either, all i was doing was wishing every body who is a rugby fan in Epic (and i'm sure there is a lot of you) and follows one of the teams in the magners league the best of luck for the coming season.
