Well now with the season finished up itâs time to look back and see what a cracking season it was. All the races this year were top notch between the improved standard of tracks, the organisation, the riders, the non use of spikes except for dust, and the craic. From a club point of view epic had a great presents at the races this year with good a pits and epic jerseys seen all over the track and podiums. So well done to everyone that came racing this year. Here is a quick review of the overall results for Epic.
The womenâs was full of epic ladies with Nat finishing 2nd and Orla in 4th and Siliva in 5th.
In super vets Karl only did the one league race but managed to get himself into 5th overall
In vets we had Joe finishing in 6th, unfortunately unable to finish the season due to injuries, and fresh from his win in Waterford we had Bren in 7th.
In sports we had the ever present Rowan finishing in 9th
In seniors we had Ed taking the win with myself 2nd with Al in 6th
In the seriously competitive Masters category we had Sean in the top 5 with 5th , Mark was 9th Alan just out side the top 10 in 12th in front of Bruce then Gav with Ken two places back from him (So Gav all the bitch talk worked)
In Juniors Greg had a savage season with a few fastest times of the day and plenty of elite podium times, so he won with Gav OâConnell finishing in 5th
So there you are lots of amazing results for the Epic boys and girls.
Again well done all that came out and flew the epic flag this year you all did the club proud.
