What's the hardest thing about Cyclo Cross..??

Can we get them as our new club socks they are the Bizz, could you imagine us all lining up for a race in them classic!!! In fairness thats some height he's jumping with a bike in his hands is that Robin?
not the first and definitely not the last time I'll hear that joke, still makes me laugh though
Yep that joke is as old as the hills...

But I couldn't resist when I saw that picture.... sums up everything that's wrong with cyclo cross... its bent....!!
I have never seen you do a cross race Gerry, So you can't really have a valued oppinion on cyclocross ?
Com'n Rory .... you've been around long enough to ignore that sort of stuff! Why do people slag cyclocross so much - it looks like bloody hard work to me!
well, i've raced and ran Cyclocross races and if they were on a Saturday at 10.00am in the morning, I'd do them in the Winter.
They are serious tests of skill and fitness but the only people who can really enjoy them are the really fit and the really skilled.
Theres not much real point of them when you have actual mountainbike races.
For me theres no good reason to give up a 2 or 3 hour freeride spin of a Sunday to do one.
And in my opinion its a road discipline, The Offroad Commission took it on board because the Road didn't want it.
If it wasn't for Robin there would be no Cyclocross at all in Ireland, he revived it.
You would absolutely hate it Richard, its really for the savage and competitive.
You can go out and do a mtb race at a handy pace and enjoy it. You can't do a cyclocross race for the craic. Its just like a road race that way, its full on or **** off!
You can't have discs on a CX bike either, but I definitely remember Robin racing on a cx bike with flat bars.
We slag Cyclocross on here because we can..
I had an official complaint put in against me to Cycling Ireland for my slagging of it, pages of negative comments I made about Cyclocross were used as evidence against me..
ha ha ha..
big deal..
I have no problem at all with Cyclocross , I do have a problem with people that put it ahead of mountainbike racing and claim its better..
Thats the stupidest thing I've ever heard..
also, to be fair, I came of the cross bike twice last night, I never come off the bike (except when drunk). You do push that extra bit, REALLY on the edge of the tires......not going to talk about this again, you heard it all before.

To be fair, it easy to slag.....try to explain it to someone in work. 'Well, we ride around on grass, then pick the bike up and run up a hill'....mental
Jeeeeesus wept Rory....!! You should know better..

Its a joke...!!! I saw the picture and couldn't resist..

Get off your high horse.. Oz and Rory.. Feicin' ladyboy mountainbikers...

Well.. at least its good to see that Joe hasn't lost his sense of humour about it...
