there is a spacer between the pedal and the crank arm.
what a stupid thing.I'm looking for the left one.Tryed few shops around the town,James in OC,CRC-- NO luck.
Anyone has idea where to get one?

no it's a spacer with a tred on it which reduce the bigger tred on the arm to a normal pedal size tred.

It's not the washer then, it's the metal insert. a kinda helicoil. try asking if anyone has an
old crank. also, it is handed, so spec which side you need.
Well if it is the steel insert that is gone, as opposed to the pedal washer, then I think your crank may be fooked altogether.. as that metal insert is not supposed to come loose at all to the best of my knowledge..!

The tred on the arm is grand.All i need is the new insert and glue it in
I have done the right side that way and it's fine
I couldn't take the left one off and brought it to a unnamed shop in the town and the fantastic mechanic there couldn't take it off as well and destroyed the tred on the insert.i don't want to throw away the whole cranks becouse one stupid insert!
I have a set truvativ hussefelt cranks. I can see what your looking for and I tryed popping that thing out, not happen, there is some way to gettin it out.
Wait I know you, you ride in st annes park from time to time, ever see a rider down there riding a blue kona cowan, thats me!
i can bring thoes cranks down to you on the weekend if you would like to check them out? I should be down digging.
