Anyone know what is the procedure for someone changing clubs.
basically my license from 09 is with "nomad" and want to change to epic
for 10.
I tried to do it on CI but got a server error!.
Also considering I want to do some racing what is the best license to get?
sorry if this has been covered before.

last year you needed to apply the old school way and with it you needed a letter of release from your old club secretary to say you had left your old club and were free to join a new one.

You will need to get a letter of release from whoever was Nomad Secretary.
The Cycling Ireland Online licence system is astray.
Jack is the Club secretary, we are having a meeting this Friday to discuss Membership which for my part is who I want in the Club and who I don't want.
But I like you Terry so you're ok.
we will post a message saying what needs to be done after Friday.
And my list of who needn't bother getting an EPIC licence for 2010!
yeah as Richie said, will be posting about membership at the weekend. but to get thing rolling you need the letter of release first. the 2009 license is still valid until the end of Jan 2010.
For you terry just to get the restricted competition license, means you can race in ireland and don't have to worry about day licences.
Make sure the one you pick will also work outside of Ireland for the Roc this year Terry. They didn't pay much attention to mine once the name etc matched the entry but I'm not sure what license I went for last year!!! You just don't want a big restricted to Ireland stamped on the bloody thing!!!

the new system has a club transfer utility, now I've no idea if it works or not, but my guess would be like the rest of the shambles of a system it doesn't work,
but, you can always try....
