Forum viewing troubles!

When I go to the home page of the Epic site, under the 'Recent Threads' section I can see all the recent threads apart from any under the 'Technical Talk & Buy and Sell' section. This is only a recent thing in the last few days. I thought the forum had gotten very quiet, I've only just noticed the 100 or so new posts in the Tech section!! Anyone know why I can't see these threads on the home page?? Cheers.

Its the same with me.I assume its designed that way?

yes..we had recieved tons of complaints from members that when they logged in they were bombarded with Mac the Knifes for sale ads..
So I asked Gav to stop them from showing up when people logged in.
Simples and due to the constant complaints we get about the buy and sell section ( the only complaints we get !!!) we won't be changing it back,

That's what I thought! Would it be a big job to seperate out the "Tech Talk" section Richie and let that appear on the home page?

we're getting a new home page with a photo Gallery and a news section.
And thats a " NO"..
Until somebody comes along to replace me as dictator..I will continue to despise the Buy and sell and the tech talk section..!

Complain!!! jeasus some people have too much time on there hands to actually complain, bet they wouldn't complain if they wanted something off GMac!!!! Now I have to go through the bloody forums instead off just opening the home page. Where do i complain, here is it! Right I'm not happy about this there you go!!!

Ohhh Yeh I forgot, I missed out on free bloody gettoblaster thingy that Adamaskinny had, FOR FREE!! because it was on the forum ffs!!!!

Know what you mean Smithers, for me it was one of the best bits of the forum, now as you say you have to navigate to get to it! I only saw your post about bringing the brake bits to cloon on Sunday today Richie, didn't know what you were talking about on Sunday morning when you said you brought those bits for me! Oh well..

And what about Don's essays on tyre choice, DU bushes and all those other fascinating subjects? Don't they deserve to be on the home page?

No! They should be on the freaky forum, Did see his post about how simple it is to fit a tubeless tyre!!! The mind boggles how some people get through the day, it made me laugh though, he's a funny guy!!!

If it really matters that much just set the tech talk page as your browsers home page. It will look exactly the same as our home page used to look before the decision was made to filter it out. Or, if you use a tabbed home page just have it as one of the tabs. Nerds
