Any contractors out there?

Why a contractor? I think Robin and Richie should submit a joint tender, who in Ireland would build better trails?

ah come on..Fergal owns 3 Rock..how can you be so insensitive..I hate building trails anyway!!

Yeah Fergal gets my vote for best trail builder, i only build as a means to an end..he loves it !! and he can get through some amount of trees and **** on his own !! I hope they have plenty of Claymores for blowing up MXers up there !!

I rarely get up 3 Rock but I offer him my sincere apologies, and he is the best looking of you lot, why not the three of you then? It's what you do any way, but this time you will get paid!

honestly i'd hate to have to do it for a living, i don't rate myself as a trail builder i just want to go somewhere and the ****s in the way !

I notice this quote from the tender;

"...sustainably developed MTB trails..."

I rode up in B'stoe last Sunday and sustained it is not.

they just won't maintain that place..now ballyhoura..theres a fine example of well maintained trail!

Yeah but I think its got better the more eroded its gotten. Way more technical especially the top section. But not great for new comers which is what its designed for though.

yeah, exactly. The top bit is the worst, couldnt take beginners or kids on it. And it ripped the gooch outta my big ring.

Its an open tender, so if you have a business that is setup from a tax and insurance point of view and have access to the required machinery, then you can put in an expression of interest. Its for ‘construction’, Coillte are taking care of the design of it separately.
