Crc Wtf?

What's going on?Well known world's largest shop offering quick free shipping gives **** again.
I'm going away for 2 weeks tomorrow and needed some stuff to be delivered quickly.
I ordered some bike crap + a helmet, order made last Friday early morning. Shipping method was ParcelForce courier - next day smooth delivery. BULL****
today (after 3 days) the sent me a confirmation that my order has been despatched by Royal Mail....
It's happened to me once before but i thought it was a mistake and wasn't in a hurry. This time i had put an additional note to my basket "PLS USE A COURIER AS I NEED IT DELIVERED QUICKLY".
If there was an option to get it quicker by paying additional 5quid for courier i'd do that, but they had put free ParcelForce into my basked already...


I don't know why for example tf tuned, who are farther away, despatch and deliver stuff within 3 days. I know CRC are busy but they shouldn't be giving you the courier when you checkout and then in the end you end up with standard mail.
My postman hates me already.

I've used CRC for a while and have noticed a significant deterioration from what used to be a top class shipping service to a very ordinary one. Had exactly the same experience as you on the last 2 orders.

Am I reading youre post correctly Luka,you paid £5 extra for a courier to be used cause you needed the gear in a hurry,CRC took youre £5 and yet only used Royal Mail??

I ordered pedals off them last tuesday evening and got them by post friday morning.

Tuesday is the best day to order, earlier the better! I have never recieved stuff until the following week if I order after tuesday!

if i knew they'd use Royal mail, i'd pay extra £5 to get it quicker but there was no need to do so - they have added Parcel Force to my checkout as a free option

Dont you have the option of what postage method you want to use?

I dont think it really matters as untill your order is complete it wont be posted anyway so you could be waiting a few days.
Ive placed 3 orders this week and 1 last week and the 3 this week were completed yesterday and the one from last week today.
Nothing big just a pair of shifters and some chain links.

Shipping really does vary with them.

You have the option of free Royal Mail or a courier for £5 when ordering off CRC.But you need to click the courier option,otherwise you get the freepost.You must'nt have clicked on the courier option.Something to look out for next time you need stuff in a hurry. Micky

Yea the last few orders I've placed they've given me free 24 hour shipping no questions asked. Think it's a new thing.
