The Buzz

I've been doing this mountainbiking thing a long long time..but I have never enjoyed it as much as I do now.
We're in a depression, we're broke ! its hopeless..
But we have the best Club League on the greatest little track in the world..we have riders from every club giving it socks on a Thursday night.
We have a party in the pub afterwards. We have had countless amazing spins..
there are amazing people involved..
Its ****ing brilliant !!

It is something amazing, I'd be in some heap if it wasn't for EPIC.

Buzz is right, I couldn't sleep a wink last night, I'm knackered!!
Have to agree there Lads, At 36 I have met a complete new bunch of mates which I may add I see more than any other mates I have. I so look forward to meeting up with the bunch of maddsers on Tues,Thurs and Sunday's for a spin on my bicycle......We are a bunch of teenagers really, trapped in 30 to 50 year old bodies hahahaaha I love it !

Thank you Epic !!!
I know what you mean Don .... I'm in the "Doghouse" at home ..... apparently going on the laptop at 5.45am to see if the results are up is just not reasonable!!
Still buzzing .....
hopefuly you will sleep to -night
sweet dreams.........of a sub 15min lap........dream on for another week at least. !!
p.s. maybe do a Hunter S Thomson and try 80 p.s.i. in tyres.
A bottle of LIDL finest will help your illness there lads, trust me it will also make you faster!!
who'd have thought cycling your bike through muck and over a few bumps could change your life so much, and show you a whole new world of craic you never thought existed - bizarre, but brilliant!
It's great, because in the real world I have no mates, whereas here I appear to have loads......
I got a buzz from this , (posted by Donncha over on the MAD site)
nicely edited video from last weeks NPS, checkout the lad at 2:03 at the top of the climb who forgets his bike for a second :D
Have to agree with all said there guys. Life is tough at the moment for people, but getting out on the bike and having the craic makes things easier !!
Hmmmm......
Even though I thought I was going to throw up on lap 2, had to stop with calf cramp on lap 3 and finished flat last I thoroughly enjoyed last night's race. So thanks very much and looking forward to next week (can only improve :) ), Declan

thanks to all those involved, best fun I had on a bike in a while.

Can't believe I never made it out to one of the races before.
