Illegal Trail?!

Whilst on the Slieve Donard mountain yesterday,I stumbled across a downhill track(very well build). I was just wondering, Is it an illegal track?!

and a Family trail in Portumna are the only legal trails at the moment.
Race organisers get licences to run events in State owned forest, outside of events its illegal to ride on them in them and on top of them.
I realise you are only a kid but...
You need to go and Join your Local MTB Club and find out off them whats what.

Everything else is illegal and yes you can be thrown out by the Authorities and yes you haven't leg to stand on.

The track may or may not have been built with the land owners permission. Ride it, you will eventually meet the builders and the situation there will be explained. Don't post it's location on public forums. Regardless of the situation it's someone's hard work and there's no bringing it to a premature end.

Access issues may be different in Northern Ireland (where the trail in question is), not sure. For south of the border, Byrner's points are correct.
