Thoughts on this hardtail..

I can't get the bug out of my head, what do you reckon on this bad boy....looks pretty good to me...

That's the bike I have Don, savage bike I really like the alu./carbon mix frame. The bike is a bit on the heavy side thou, have ago of mine next Thursday, mines a medium. Good value for money as well.

Any other suggestions around €1-1.5K, ideally carbon?

give the cash to me cos i'll get a deadly deal on a small carbon bike, then you can race vicariously through me!!!

No ..... No ...... No!!! Not Halfords Don ..... they are worse than useless ..... 6 months later I'm still trying to get a rear hanger for the Boardman frame!! Pick some character on e-bay from Nigeria instead .........

I thought you may have strong opinions on them! Can't see myself picking one over a Giant...

We are proud to be the newly appointed exclusive agent for Stevens bikes in Ireland.

a fair few of us have them and I have not heard any complaints so far....

Just buy a DH bike, its the next level man, will change your life.

I have the next one up
it's less than 10 kgs, goes like stink(when I'm on it),
and has a brilliant spec for the money.
I love it and the forks are the best i've ever had
alone the forks cost 700 in CR

while you are at it.
get a gear hanger too and their pedals are half the price of CR.

Recommend the Canyons too, then when you get bored spend 280 on an ebay carbon taiwanese jobby and knock a pound and a half or so off the weight. Everything from my Canyon literally transferred straight over onto my new frame, with a little help from Gerry Mac that is. I think Rusty Ring is toying with the idea of one too, and Adamski seemed keen a few weeks back too. And Fat Fecker seems pretty happy with his. Join the revolution.

Oh yeah, and anyone who fancies a spin of mine (18" medium) is welcome too, except smashy framey Luke obviously
