Eoin Keith Cycled to Galway last Saturday with a Tuxedo in his bag , for the Mayor of Galways Ball..9 hours it took him..
if ever a man needed a girlfriend badly, its him.

I usually jump in at this stage and say that Eoin Keith is my hero etc etc but you're right Richie ..... that's just mad!!

the highlight of the spin was going through the Drivethrough in some backwater midland town, apparently..
I forgot to ask him had he got an ipod..I doubt it..
you can just see him in the big ring..cranking along the old galway road, like a poor lost sould..grubby giant backpack on him hanging off him ..slobber streaming across his face..big cheesy grin on him..
probably doing calculations in his head or remembering pages from Harry Potter books..
I'd say he was locked on 2 pints when he got there !!

Surprised he took a tux,was'nt the yellow jacket good enough for the Lord Mayor's bash???

And no, no Ipod, although if the midlands got to me too much I could have used the music player on my phone I suppose. Or listened to "de wireless" :)
