Now for some reason , scumbags have decided that the finish area in the Leadmines is a party Zone..I'm up to my tonsils and can't get up there to clean it up..If somebody would like to organise a crew with bags and gloves to go up and clean it up, I know Coillte would appreciate it and the DMP would as well.. not to mention the benefit to the Club..

If you get the bags for the next club race I will put rubish in them right after the next club race, I'm sure everybody else there will pick up something after they have recovered from their race. it will only take a few mins with 50 helpers !
Sorry to hijack this as I know we're not members but Leeza & I got such a f**king shock today when we went up for a spin. We tried to fill a few bags but it got quite depressing and then she picked up ****ty jax roll, we screamed then left. She feels soiled... god love her....
There's some lads camping around by the tower so I kinda said 'oh you boys aren't gonna leave a load of ur mess behind' (felt like such an oul one) but they just sounded like scolded schoolboys and said they wouldnt'. I muttered 'yeah right'... it's really horrible up there
the weird thing is..somebody has built another hideout on the last section of trail near the Bogey root !!! and set fire to some of the trees..
But theres some amount of crap up there ! I'd say the locals are freaking out..
If nobody gets up before Thursday I'll be up there early and I'll fill a few more bags ! By the way this will get us serious cred with the Coillte people and the DMP..there running a part of the Dublin way through the place and they won't like that **** every where !!
Lads if you are up there and see this happening..report it to Stepaside Garda station and Coillte !

went up today after work , yeah there are empty bottles, cans etc. everywhere !!
I filled 4/5 black bags and filled up some offlicence bags and empty beer boxes that were lying around. but there is still loads more, I'd say there is enough crap still up there to fill another 10+ bags.

Well done Dave! Anyone who finishes early on Thursday can get stuck in, that will leave me with precious little to do by the time I come crawling up that hill.
Yeah I'm usually there early enough on Thursday, I'll bag some stuff up if it's still lying around, that gate wasn't locked last week, if coillte put another lock on it it might keep them out as they wont be able to drive their cars in.
I brought normal black bags yesterday, they are not strong enough! I'm getting some heavy duty bags today, I might Be able to stop off again tonight. if not I'll bring them along on Thursday.
