Clipey this I know, but where do you get that film that protects the frame? Not just the small patches. Joe Jackmans new bike was covered in the stuff last time I saw it.

I will look after you Don... I use a thin version in signwriting. I should have some knocking about. If you want the thick stuff, CCM racing (broomhill ave, tallaght. opposite topaz on greenhlls road.) have sheets of it. It's cheap as chips. I've been using insulating tape... clear stuff would be nicer. I may drop by for some.

Anyway... CCM racing is Cragie Competition Motorcycles.The biggest MX shop in the South. They supported my biking for years. MX boys use clear stuff to protect frames. They also use a grippy version to help stay on the bike. Sorta like the stuff stuck on skateboards. A sheet of the stuff is about 2sq ft, so should do multiple bikes. I prefer the thin stuff personally.
And if Don want's to protect his investment, so be it.... He'll want to sell it in 8 years, with 100k on the clock, claiming it's immaculate, and asking €4000.

This is the best stuff I've found todate. Use a heat gun to put it on otherwise it won't stick properly.
